The Bellevue Romper from our Summer Butterflies collection is one of those pieces that stops you mid-scroll — and even more so in real life. Made entirely by hand in our Liverpool studio, this handmade baby romper is slow fashion at its softest and most joyful. The main body is cut from our limited-edition woven butterfly cotton, a white ground scattered with watercolour butterflies in every shade of pink, purple, aqua, green, yellow and blue. Double-layered flutter ruffle sleeves in coordinating pink and lavender linen frame the shoulders beautifully, while the cross-back straps meet at the lower back in a generous white sash bow that ties with a full, dreamy knot. Turn them around and you'll find the real showstopper: three tiered bum ruffles in alternating pink and lavender, catching the summer breeze with every step.

✦ Safety Note — Newborn to 6-9 Months For the safety of younger babies, sizes Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-9 months are made with shorter straps that fasten securely with poppers rather than the full cross-back bow design. They're just as beautiful — the straps are still made in crisp white cotton and sit sweetly at the shoulders — but close safely without long ties. The full cross-back sash bow design appears from 9-12 months and above.

✦ Care Instructions Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry — lay flat or hang to preserve the ruffles. Cool iron if needed. Wash similar colours together.
